Majelletta is a captivating ski resort nestled in the heart of Passo Lanciano, Abruzzo, renowned for its unique location which offers visitors a remarkable opportunity to ski on a mountain while relishing the stunning views of the sea. This magical experience is a rarity globally, making Majelletta a must-visit destination for winter sports enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. The resort, with its highest ski slope reaching 2000 meters above sea level, promises an exciting adventure set against an awe-inspiring backdrop.
The resort features three ski slopes, including a children's slope, each providing diverse experiences for skiers of different skill levels. The resort's ski facilities and services are noted for their quality, although the lack of connection between the two stations is a point of improvement. The snow park is particularly lauded for its excellent organization and care.
Despite the beauty of the resort, some visitors have expressed concerns regarding the management of services, particularly the separate management of the two ski slopes, which are only fifty meters apart, requiring separate day passes for usage. The resort's parking facilities have also been critiqued for their insufficiency, particularly during weekends, and early arrival is recommended to secure a spot.
Nevertheless, the tranquillity and joy found in Majelletta's silence of the mountains offer a haven for those seeking a respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Additionally, the resort's close proximity to the sea, just a few kilometers away, further adds to its allure. Its convenience, being only 40 minutes by car from nearby locations, makes it an ideal destination for day trips and weekend getaways.
In conclusion, Majelletta Ski Resort is a beautiful and unique destination that perfectly encapsulates the natural beauty of Abruzzo. Its serene atmosphere, combined with exciting skiing opportunities and breathtaking views, make it a place worth experiencing firsthand.
