Zaarour is a renowned ski resort that caters to a wide range of skill levels, from beginners to seasoned professionals. Its slopes are well-suited for leisurely skiing and training, making it an ideal location for young skiers to learn. Although not the largest or highest in Lebanon, Zaarour offers decent slopes that are an easy commute for many. The resort is a year-round destination, offering a multitude of activities in both winter and summer.
The resort is not only known for skiing but also for its excellent food court, a small lake for rowing, mountain climbing opportunities, and an alluring pool for summer dips. For those who wish to relax and rejuvenate, they can take advantage of the international cuisine on offer at the Ilago restaurant, get a tan at Le Grand Chalet, or spend an enjoyable night at Frozen Cherry. The resort also offers a variety of activities for children, making it a great spot for a family outing.
Despite its many offerings, Zaarour has faced criticism for its approach to safety and customer service. Some visitors have reported serious accidents during buggy rides, with the staff's response being criticized as negligent and unhelpful. This has raised concerns about the resort's emphasis on safety and the wellbeing of its patrons.
Overall, Zaarour provides a diverse range of activities and experiences that cater to various interests and skill levels. However, it's clear that some areas, such as safety and customer service, need improvement to ensure all visitors have a safe and enjoyable experience.
