Job Responsibilities: Oversee kitchen operations, quality, and administrationSeek and respond to customer feedback promptlyEnsure resources meet business needsManage food provision and compliance with legislationControl costs, improve profit margins, and meet financial targetsKeep team updated on menu items, promotions, and eventsMaintain good communication and relationships across the hotelManage staffing levels to meet business demandsConduct monthly meetings and generate minutesAddress staff performance issues per company policiesRecruit, train, and develop kitchen staffComply with safety, health, and food safety regulationsAddress maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues promptlyAlign financial performance with resort objectivesAdhere to food control systems to meet margin targetsReview menus with Executive Chef to align with trends and objectivesPromote environmental awarenessPerform other related duties as assigned Education: High School Diploma or GED Preferred Experience: Two+ years of post-high school education, culinary education is desirable.Resort experience preferred.West Virginia Food Handlers Certificate required.Proficient in knife handling and use of culinary equipment (ovens, grills, broilers, sauté pans, fryers)Knowledgeable in safe food handling practicesExperienced in food management principles and problem-solvingStrong leadership skills to motivate and develop staffCapable of working effectively under time constraints and deadlines All Information above is subject to change at any time.
