As for the difficulty of the hike, I would categorize it as hard, making it more suitable for experienced hikers. The route itself is a loop type, which allowed me to return to my starting point without any backtracking. The total time spent on the hike was between 3-4 hours, making it ideal for a half-day activity. I would definitely recommend this trail for hiking enthusiasts looking for a challenging and scenic adventure. Parking was not an issue at all, with plenty of space available in the free parking lot. Overall, the Sollifjellet hiking trail provided a rewarding experience filled with natural beauty and a good physical challenge.”

Observing the ships in the fjord adds a unique perspective on its vastness, and with keen eyesight or binoculars, the distant crowds on the opposite rock become visible. The trail initially leads through a somewhat barren gravel road before crossing a charming bridge, revealing a delightful moor and lake landscape all the way to the stony peak. Proper hiking shoes with non-slip, ideally waterproof, soles are a must for this adventure. In conclusion, the Sollifjellet trail stands as a fantastic alternative to the crowded spot on the opposite side, delivering an enchanting journey to the summit and stunning fjord views. It's a perfect spot to unwind after a long day, providing an absolute highlight in my outdoor experiences.”
