“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Storefjell, especially the dinner buffet. The variety was outstanding, boasting dozens of dishes from high-quality meats and fish to a range of salads, not to mention around 15 different desserts. The dining area is neat and well-managed. While the pool area could do with a slight touch-up, I found it quite relaxing, particularly the sauna and jacuzzi, which was quieter around 13:00. There are plenty of evening activities for children, including table tennis, shuffleboard, a disco, and even a magician. The recent addition of 8 electric vehicle chargers was a thoughtful touch, especially after driving up the hill with a full load. I stayed here on a family holiday, and I would rate the rooms, service, and location as 4, 5, and 5 respectively. The hotel offers a fantastic view and is very kid-friendly.”

However, it was apparent that the hotel holds a certain age, which was especially noticeable in some areas.”

The hotel itself boasts of lovely details, and the surrounding scenery is truly unique and special. The breakfast offered was bountiful and satisfying. The service provided was exceptional and the location was perfect. There was no shortage of activities, with the hotel offering numerous options and even more to explore in the surrounding area. What stood out the most was the magnificent view and the tranquil environment. It was an enjoyable holiday with my family. The overall grading for the rooms, service, and location would be 4, 5, and 5 respectively.”

“My experience at Storefjell was like stepping into a time machine and revisiting the ambiance of 40 years ago, with a touch of a Stephen King novel for added intrigue. There was ample parking available, although navigating to the reception was somewhat labyrinthine. Upon entering, my first observation was that the hotel could benefit from some modern updates. Particularly, the carpeting seemed to be from a bygone era.”
