“Kranjska Gora is a ski resort with a strong emphasis on club and competition activities, though it is also marketed for families. It's noticeable that the resort management permits club competitors to bypass lines for the cable machines, which can be frustrating. It's also common to see club training taking place on open slopes, and ski lessons are conducted across all slopes. The ticketing system could be improved for recreational skiers, who may find themselves waiting for up to 60 minutes to purchase a ticket, while clubs have the advantage of a "high priority" box office that bypasses the wait. If you're looking for a more family-centric experience, there are other ski resorts within a 20-30 km radius that offer a more relaxed environment where you won't feel overwhelmed by the competitive atmosphere.”

“My experience in Kranjska Gora was notable for a number of reasons. The ski slopes were often crowded with non-skiers which created a unique atmosphere. I also had some difficulties with the Kekec chairlift that kept stopping intermittently. The food scene was interesting, especially at Lačno Kekec which reminded me of a Balkan barbecue I once had on Jahorina.”

However, I found the ski resort to be a bit disappointing. It was often crowded and the ski tracks didn't quite meet my expectations.”

“My experience at Kranjska Gora was generally positive. However, my son and I faced a bit of trouble with the parking situation in the snow. After a week of skiing, we found our car stuck in the snow. Thankfully, with the help of the amiable rangers and other guests, we were able to extricate our car from the snow and leave the parking lot. My overall experience was satisfactory.”
