Ski center Říčky

“I found the Ski Center Říčky to be a pleasant spot, with services that met my expectations. However, I did encounter some issues with the accessibility from the parking area to the cable car, which I believe could be improved upon.”

“I had a fantastic experience visiting the Ski center Říčky. The resort is well-equipped with ample parking space and excellent facilities. Conveniently, they run shuttle buses from the lower to the upper parking area. I was quite pleased with the condition of the slopes which are meticulously groomed. The 6-seater Leitner cable car is efficient and has the capacity to transport a good number of people. The variety of ski runs including blue, red, and black slopes catered to different skill levels. I also appreciated the moving belt in the Bobík's training meadow, which could be accessed independently without needing a ski school instructor. The resort also offered several services including a ski service, a rental room with storage space, ski school, and refreshments to keep energy levels up. Overall, my visit was enjoyable and I found the resort well-facilitated.”

“During days of sunshine, the Ski center Říčky can be quite crowded and may not be the most enjoyable experience. However, on foggy days, the ambiance significantly changes and offers a unique and different skiing experience.”

“While I initially thought the ski center Říčky appeared modern, my experience proved otherwise. I was disappointed to find the slope conditions deteriorated into mud and scattered snow by 10 am. The cable car process was also challenging, with a missing moving belt requiring skiers to manually shuffle to the boarding point. Additionally, the need to make a 180° turn before passing through the turnstile was made more difficult by heavy traffic and unruly skiers. The standard of 10 FIS rules, common in large ski areas, was not adequately represented here, with the only small post located outside the main area and thus inaccessible to skiers. The slope markings were also inadequate, only present at the top where the difficulty level is divided, and lacking at potential junctions where two tracks descend. I found the exits problematic, being narrow and often blocked by pedestrians, with no staff intervention. While I understand refreshments are not within the area's responsibility, the options available were less than satisfactory. On a positive note, I appreciated the mountain service located conveniently next to the slope. However, overall, my experience at this ski center was a letdown compared to other similar facilities.”
