The resort is situated at an altitude of 1100 - 1400 meters above sea level, promising high possibilities of good snow condition. A noteworthy feature of Martinky is the opportunity for backcountry and forest freeriding, alongside traditional slope skiing. The resort is not just confined to skiing; it also offers exciting activities such as hiking, biking, and trail running during the late spring, summer, and autumn seasons.

Martinské Hole is lauded for its breathtaking views of the Mala Fatra mountain chain and Turčianska basin. On clear days, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the Velka Fatra mountain chain and other parts of Mala Fatra.
